HBPA Foundation Scholarship 2020-2021

2020 HBPA Scholarship Application is Now Closed
This Hispanic Business/Professional Association & Foundation invite Spokane County high school seniors and current undergraduate college and university students, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, to apply! 

Scholarships Submission Must Include:
  1. Transcripts (Official or unofficial)
  2. Scholarship Essay
    • Attach an essay, 500 words or less (typed, double spaced), answering the following prompt: “How do you plan to use your interests and talents to contribute to the Hispanic/Latino community after completing your education?
  3. Self Reflection Essay
If your high school principal, counselor, a teacher or community member were to write a letter to us as to why you are the best candidate to be awarded this scholarship, what would they want us to know about you?
  1. Online Application Form
    • All documents should be submitted online via the submission form. Only applications with all the items submitted will be reviewed.

“[Hispanics] are paying their taxes, they are paying federal taxes. These are people that are paying rent, that’s huge for landlords. So, if these people get financial aid, this is going back to the economy and that’s what we got to look at sometimes,” President Isabel Mazcot said.
